Type 2 Deabetes

Were you looking for information about Type 2 Diabetes? Type 2 deabetes is a common misspelling of type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes (formerly called adult-onset diabetes) is most common in people over the age of 40 and occurs when the body produces insulin, but doesn't use it in the right way. It is commonly linked to obesity, a lack of activity, and a family history of diabetes. If left untreated, this condition can cause serious problems, such as damage to the eyes, kidneys, and nerves. Researchers recently have found that people with type 2 diabetes also have an increased risk for Alzheimer's disease.
