What If I Take an Overdose of Starlix?

People who take too much Starlix may have overdose signs and symptoms that could include:
 
  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
  • Fainting
  • Shakiness
  • Fast heartbeat (tachycardia)
  • Confusion
  • Sweating.
     
If you happen to overdose on Starlix, seek immediate medical attention.

How Should Starlix Be Stored?

Starlix should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture or heat. The tablets should be kept in an airtight container.
 
Keep Starlix and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Starlix?

If you skip a meal, you should also skip that Starlix dose. If you forget to take it before your meal, wait until you eat again. If you eat an extra meal, take an extra dose of Starlix before that meal. Do not take a double dose of Starlix.
 

Strengths of Starlix

Starlix tablets are available in two strengths:
 
  • Starlix 60 mg tablets
  • Starlix 120 mg tablets.
     

Generic Starlix

There is currently no generic Starlix available (see Generic Starlix).
