PrandiMet Side Effects to Report

There are a number of side effects with PrandiMet that you should report to your healthcare provider. These include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Symptoms of high blood sugar (which is a side effect only if PrandiMet does not adequately control your blood sugar), including:

 

    • Increased hunger
    • Increased thirst
    • Increased urination
    • Blurred vision
    • Fatigue
    • Shortness of breath
    • Nausea or vomiting

 

  • Symptoms of low blood sugar, including:

 

    • Sweating
    • Shakiness
    • Extreme hunger
    • Dizziness
    • Cold sweats
    • Blurry vision
    • Changes in behavior, such as irritability
    • Loss of coordination
    • Difficulty speaking
    • Confusion

 

 

    • Feeling tired or weak
    • Muscle pain
    • Trouble breathing
    • Abdominal pain (stomach pain)
    • Feeling cold
    • Dizziness or lightheadedness
    • A slow or irregular heartbeat

 

  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including:

 

    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Unexplained swelling,
    • Wheezing or difficulty breathing or swallowing.
