PrandiMet Alternatives

There are several PrandiMet (repaglinide and metformin) alternatives available for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Some of these alternatives include lifestyle changes (like losing weight and increasing physical activity), other oral diabetes medications, and insulin or other injectable medications. PrandiMet Alternatives Explained

PrandiMet™ (repaglinide and metformin) is a prescription medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. For most people, PrandiMet is effective and well tolerated. However, as with all diabetes medicines, PrandiMet can cause bothersome or dangerous side effects, or may not adequately control your blood sugar levels. Fortunately, there are several alternatives to PrandiMet for treating type 2 diabetes.
