Serious Side Effects

Some side effects of Oseni are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider right away. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • A broken bone
  • Painful or more frequent urination
  • Blood or reddish color in your urine
  • Vision changes
  • Signs of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), such as:
    • Abdominal (stomach) pain or tenderness that may radiate to the back
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
 
  • Signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), such as:
    • Shakiness
    • Sweating
    • Hunger
    • Headache
    • Dizziness
    • Confusion
    • Blurry vision
    • Change in mood, such as irritability
    • A fast heartbeat
 
  • Signs of liver problems, such as:
    • Abdominal (stomach) pain or swelling
    • Loss of appetite
    • Unexplained fatigue
    • Dark urine
    • Yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes (jaundice)
 
  • Unexplained, rapid weight gain
  • Swelling, especially of the legs or ankles
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, especially when lying down
  • Unusual tiredness
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching, flaking, or peeling of the skin
    • Unexplained swelling, especially of the face, lips, or throat
    • Difficulty swallowing or breathing.
 

Final Thoughts

You may experience some or none of the side effects listed in this article. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have problems with a medicine that you have never tried.
 
Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any adverse reactions while using the drug or if something "just does not seem right." While it may not be a side effect of Oseni, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
