A number of medications are known to interfere with Onglyza. For example, interactions may occur if the diabetes medicine is combined with sulfonylureas, nefazodone, certain protease inhibitors, or certain antibiotics or antifungals. These drug interactions with Onglyza can lead to high medicine levels in the bloodstream; if you are taking these medications together, you may need a lower Onglyza dosage.
