Were you looking for more information about Byetta? Beyetta is a common misspelling of Byetta.
Byetta® (exenatide) is a prescription medicine used for reducing blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. It is a type of incretin mimetic that works by decreasing the amount of glucose that the liver produces and increasing insulin production in response to meals. Before your healthcare provider prescribes you Byetta, make sure he or she is aware if you are pregnant, have kidney problems, or have any allergies. Byetta comes in injection form and must be used in combination with oral diabetes medications.
