Were you looking for information about Losartan? Losarton is a common misspelling of losartan.

Losartan potassium (Cozaar®) is a type of angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) approved to treat certain health conditions involving the heart and blood vessels. Specifically, this prescription medication is used to treat diabetic nephropathy and high blood pressure. Although losartan cannot cure these conditions, it can help to control high blood pressure and slow down the progression of diabetic nephropathy. This medication may not be suitable for everyone, so let your healthcare provider know of any medical conditions you have and any medications you are taking.
