Kazano Warnings and Precautions

Who Should Not Take Kazano?

You should not take Kazano if you:
 
  • Have kidney disease.
     
  • Have metabolic acidosis or diabetic ketoacidosis (a buildup of acids in the body).
     
  • Are going to have a medical procedure where you will be given an injectable dye or contrast agent.
     
  • Are allergic to Kazano, metformin (Glucophage®), metformin ER (Glucophage XR®, Glutametz®, and Fortamet®), alogliptin (Nesina®), or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
