Kazano Side Effects

Although most people have no problems with Kazano and find it an effective type 2 diabetes medication, adverse reactions are possible. Commonly reported Kazano side effects include diarrhea, headaches, and common cold symptoms. Potentially serious problems that require medical care include extreme weakness, dark urine, and blurry vision.

An Introduction to Kazano Side Effects

As with any medicine, Kazano® (alogliptin and metformin) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

Common Side Effects With Kazano

Kazano has been studied extensively in clinical trials. In these studies, the side effects that occurred in a group of people taking the drug were carefully documented and compared to those that occurred in a similar group of people taking a placebo (a "sugar pill" with no active ingredients) or the individual components of Kazano alone. As a result, it was possible to see what side effects occurred, how often they appeared, and how they compared to the placebo or the other medicines.
