Glyburide? Glyburid is a common misspelling of glyburide.
By helping the pancreas make more insulin, glyburide (DiaBeta®, Glynase®, or Micronase®) can treat type 2 diabetes. This prescription medication comes in the form of a tablet that is taken once or twice a day. In most cases, people tolerate this prescription medication well. However, glyburide is not suitable for everyone. Make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medical conditions you have, as well as any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements) before starting treatment with glyburide.
