What If My Insurance Won't Cover Glucovance?

Some insurance companies that do not cover Glucovance will cover the two medications in Glucovance separately. In other words, even if Glucovance is not covered, you may have coverage for glyburide and metformin separately. You would need two separate prescriptions from your healthcare provider, and you would likely need to pay two co-pays. For some people, this option may be more cost-effective, although it would result in taking more tablets per day.
