Emergency Glucagon Kit

Severe low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can be fatal. Therefore, if you have diabetes and have a tendency to develop low blood sugar, your healthcare provider will probably prescribe a glucagon kit that can be used in case of emergencies.

This kit contains everything needed to prepare and inject a dose of glucagon. Each kit also contains step-by-step instructions on how to administer the injection. Be sure to tell those around you that you have one of these kits. Tell them where you keep your glucagon kit, and be sure they are familiar with how to use it.
