Funugreek

Were you looking for information about
Fenugreek? Funugreek is a common misspelling of fenugreek.

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is claimed to have several uses, such as treating high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar levels. This herbal supplement, however, has not been proved safe or effective for any use. Make sure to seek immediate medical attention if you believe you have taken too much fenugreek, as it may cause serious problems (such as internal bleeding or dangerously low blood sugar levels). Also, before taking fenugreek, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about your medical history and any other medicines you are taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements).
