Fengreek

Were you looking for information about
Fenugreek? Fengreek is a common misspelling of fenugreek.

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is an herbal supplement that may have medicinal effects, such as treating high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar levels. This supplement contains several compounds that may stimulate the secretion of insulin, slow down the digestive tract, and thin the blood. Although these compounds may have beneficial properties, there is no scientific proof that fenugreek is effective for any use. You may not be able to safely use it if you have certain health conditions or allergies. Make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any existing medical conditions you have and any other medicines you are taking before starting treatment with this supplement.
