What If My Insurance Won't Cover Duetact?

Some insurance companies that do not cover Duetact may cover the two medications in Duetact separately. In other words, even if Duetact is not covered, you may have coverage for Actos (pioglitazone) and Amaryl (glimepiride). You would need two separate prescriptions from your healthcare provider, and you would likely need to pay two copays. For some people, this option may be more cost-effective, although it would result in the need to take more tablets per day.
