What If I Take an Overdose of Duetact?

People who take too much Duetact may have symptoms that include:
 
  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
  • Fainting
  • Shakiness
  • Fast heartbeat (tachycardia)
  • Confusion
  • Sweating.
     
If you happen to overdose on Duetact, seek immediate medical attention.

How Should Duetact Be Stored?

Duetact should be stored at room temperature away from moisture or heat. Duetact tablets should be kept in an airtight container.
 
Keep Duetact and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Duetact?

If you do not take your Duetact as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of Duetact.
 

Strengths of Duetact

Duetact is available in two strengths:
 
  • Duetact 30 mg/2 mg tablets (containing 30 mg pioglitazone and 2 mg glimepiride)
  • Duetact 30 mg/4 mg tablets (containing 30 mg pioglitazone and 4 mg glimepiride).
     

Generic Duetact

There is currently no generic Duetact licensed for sale (see Generic Duetact).
