Duetact

What If I Take an Overdose of This Medicine?

People who take too much Duetact may have symptoms that include:
 
  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
  • Fainting
  • Shakiness
  • Fast heartbeat (tachycardia)
  • Confusion
  • Sweating.

How Should Duetact Be Stored?

Duetact should be stored at room temperature away from moisture or heat. The tablets should be kept in an airtight container. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your Duetact as scheduled, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Duetact is available in two strengths:
 
  • Duetact 30 mg/2 mg tablets (containing 30 mg pioglitazone and 2 mg glimepiride)
  • Duetact 30 mg/4 mg tablets (containing 30 mg pioglitazone and 4 mg glimepiride).
