Who Should Not Take Cycloset?

You should not take Cycloset if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Cycloset, bromocriptine mesylate, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Are allergic to a class of drugs known as ergot alkaloids (Cycloset is one of these drugs).
     
  • Get migraine headaches that involve fainting.
     
  • Are breastfeeding.
