Avandaryl Side Effects

Common Side Effects of Avandaryl

Avandaryl has been thoroughly studied in clinical trials in which the side effects reported by a group of people taking the drug are documented and compared to another group not taking the medicine. This way, it is possible to see what side effects occur, how often they appear, and how they compare to the group not taking the medicine.

Based on these studies, the most common Avandaryl side effects include:

Also, a recent study found that up to 9.3 percent of women taking Avandia® (rosiglitazone) develop broken bones -- especially of the arms, hands, or feet. Since rosiglitazone is one of the components of Avandaryl, it is possible that women taking this drug may also be at risk for broken bones.
