atazanavir can increase the level of Avandaryl in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dose of Avandaryl when starting and stopping atazanavir.

Taking Avandaryl with certain antifungals can increase the level of Avandaryl in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your dose of these medications.
Certain Decongestants
Taking Avandaryl with certain decongestants can make Avandaryl less effective, increasing your chance of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia). You may need to be monitored more closely, and your healthcare provider may need to adjust your Avandaryl dose, especially when starting or stopping decongestants. Make sure you check with your healthcare provider before taking any over-the-counter cough or cold products, as these medications often contain decongestants.
