Amaryl Side Effects to Report

Some side effects with Amaryl, while occurring infrequently, are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Symptoms of high blood sugar, including:
 
    • Increased hunger
    • Increased thirst
    • Increased urination
    • Blurred vision
    • Fatigue
    • Shortness of breath
    • Nausea or vomiting
 
  • Symptoms of low blood sugar, including:
 
    • Sweating
    • Shakiness
    • Extreme hunger
    • Dizziness
    • Cold sweats
    • Blurry vision
    • Changes in behavior, such as irritability
    • Loss of coordination
    • Difficulty speaking
    • Confusion
    • Seizures
 
  • Symptoms of liver problems (yellow eyes or skin, dark urine, or right upper abdominal pain)
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including:
 
    • An unexplained skin rash
    • Itching
    • Hives
    • Unexplained swelling
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
 
  • Fever, chills, or sore throat
  • Chest pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fast heartbeat or heart palpitations.
