Actos Diabetic Drug Information

Before beginning treatment for type 2 diabetes, drug information on Actos® (pioglitazone hydrochloride) should be fully reviewed with your healthcare provider. This prescription medication is approved for use either by itself or with other medications for treating type 2 diabetes.
 
Although most people do not have any problems while taking this diabetic drug, Actos is not suitable for everyone. For instance, you may not be able to safely use this medicine if you have certain medical conditions, such as heart problems, liver problems, or certain allergies.
