General Actoplus Met Dosage Information

Considerations for people taking Actoplus Met include the following:
 
  • It is best to try to take Actoplus Met with food in order to avoid stomach upset.
     
  • Actoplus Met should be taken at the same time(s) each day to maintain an even level of the medication in your blood.
     
  • If you do not take your Actoplus Met as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your normal dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of Actoplus Met.
     
  • For Actoplus Met to work properly, you have to take it as prescribed. Actoplus Met will not work if you take it differently than your healthcare provider recommends.
     
  • If you are unsure about anything related to Actoplus Met or your Actoplus Met dosage, talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. Do not stop taking Actoplus Met without first discussing it with your healthcare provider.
