Actoplus Met and Type 1 Diabetes: A Summary

Actoplus Met alone is not effective for type 1 diabetes. The drug should not be used in people with type 1 diabetes who are not insulin-resistant. However, Actoplus Met may have a use for people with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes (double diabetes), although it is not licensed for this use at this time.
