Are There Alternatives to Actoplus Met?

Actoplus Met^® (pioglitazone and metformin) is a prescription medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. For most people with diabetes, the drug is effective in treating the condition, and most people tolerate it well. However, as with all medicines, side effects can occur or the medicine may not completely control the diabetes.

Fortunately, several Actoplus Met alternatives are available for type 2 diabetes. Some of these alternatives include:
